| Details: | Phone Duty Alert. Routine and repeat samples came back positive for E. coli and this water system issued a boil water advisory for all users last night (7/9). I spoke with Caroline at Douglas County who said the system shock chlorinated and confirmation samples have been sent in to the lab. Lifted 09/30/2021: Vintage-Ruckles has installed 4-log virus inactivation treatment (sodium hypochlorite injected with a chemical feed pump). The minimum residual is set at 0.2ppm. Routine coliform sampling has been set back to quarterly. Coliform samples taken since the installation have come back clean. |
