Details: | 11/17/2017: Spring source was damaged causing a loss of pressure and infiltration of surface water. Repairs need to be made before this boil water advisory can be lifted.
9/21/18: The system remains on a boil-water advisory because the water is untreated surface water. The USFS District Ranger reported that the source had run dry sometime in recent days. A loss of pressure may siphon surface water into the piped system (if the pipes leak). Lifted 11/15/2019: The Oregon Drinking Water Services has approved the construction performed at the Cloud Cap Spring. Given the recent test results, Hood River County Health Department no longer requires that boil water advisory remain in place. You may remove the posted public notices and begin consuming the water. |
