Details: Power surge knocked out pump controls, shutting down treatment system. Pumps can be run manually as reduced production rate. However, automated membrane testing is not possible. So Mapleton proactively issued a boil notice. OHA concludes that until the filter unit is able to be tested directly, the boil notice should be maintained.

Lifted 12/24/2020:  Boil water advisory was lifted 12/24/20 after a new membrane skid (temporary rental skid) was installed on 12/17/20. The distribution system was flushed and three coliform bacteria samples came back clean.
