| Details: | Received alert for a repeat sample collected on 8/5/20 that tested positive for E. coli. This confirms the E. coli result from the 8/3/20 routine sample. Spoke with Dennis. A boil/do not drink advisory will be posted. Noted that a chlorine residual of 2.12 mg/l was reported for the EC+ sample. The reservoir will be inspected for any evidence of contamination. A triggered source sample was collected but the results are not in yet. Lifted 08/11/2020: The water system was batch chlorinated and flushed. An inspection of the buried storage reservoir did not reveal any visible potential pathways for contamination. Samples collected on 8/10/20 all tested absent for bacteria, allowing the boil advisory to be lifted. |
