| Details: | A broken waterline due to downed trees drained the storage tank leading to a loss of pressure for the water system. Repairs were underway on the morning of 9-11-20 with water pressure expected to be restored over the weekend. Residents are expected to be notified in person today (9-11-20) to not drink the water until test results show an absence of coliform bacteria, sampling and the timing of subsequent notifications and ability to drink the water will depend upon how long it takes to re-pressurize, flush, and test the system. 9-15-20 - I spoke to Mr. Miller today and he indicated the system was functionally restored and that he was going to take coliform samples today and take them to the lab tomorrow (wed 9-16-20) - I let him know about Colilert 18 to get test results a little faster and he said he would look into that. Lifted 09/17/2020: Buck Miller called 9-17-20 to report that the samples they took were all coliform absent and he was going to notify users that the boil order was lifted. |
