| Details: | Pete left a voice message this morning, requesting assistance in issuing a boil water notice due to the surface water plant not meeting standards and not being able to make enough water, due to the wildfires in Clackamas County. I emailed a filtration failure boil water notice template to Pete to use, as well as contact info for Clackamas EOM and ORWARN. Lifted 09/23/2020: System has responded adequately to boil notice and restored treatment to lift boil water notice today by: -reducing the extra demand created by fire suppression need after community returned on 9/13-14 from fire evacuation -making good water from filtration, with a 0.3 to 0.4 NTU maximum filtered water turbidity over the past week -ensuring a 0.7 to 1.0 mg/L chlorine residual level to ensure disinfection CTs met and adequate chlorine throughout distribution -flushing out any potentially high turbid water through normal usage in past week -receiving coliform absent results from two distribution samples on 9/23 System will notify customers via facebook that boil notice is lifted. |
