Details: | 11-30-17 --- Two repeat samples collected from the distribution system on 11-29-17 tested E coli + . I informed Doug Churchill that a boil water notice needs to be issued today and e mailed him the Tier 1 template. Doug informed me that the "triggered source" sample from Well #1 was actually a blended sample from Well #1 and #3. Upon hearing this I advised Doug to collect a triggered source sample from each well today: Whether or not well confirmation samples need to be collected will be determined after the results of the actual triggered source samples from each well are known. MISC NOTES: (1) SDWIS shows Well #2 as active and Well #3 as inactive. According to Doug Churchill Well #2 is inactive and Well #3 is active. (2) The longtime "op Lifted 01/11/2018: Sample taps have been installed at both wells: samples collected from each well on 12-27-17 tested coliform absent. Per Doug Churchill: storage tank and distribution system were shock chlorinated and the chlorine feed pump has been re-installed. Per Neilson Research: three temporary routines collected 1-5-18 tested coliform absent. Doug Churchill will be lifting the boil notice 1-11-18. |
