| Details: | System was impacted by fire and evacuated on 9/9. System was shut down and positive pressure lost after this evacuation and a boil water notice was distributed to all customers as the evacuation was lifted and people started coming back to system on 9/11. Well and chlorinator currently working. Distribution system comprised of plastic pipes, and given that fire chared a portion of the system, which was de-pressurized, DWS to provide guidance on including VOC sample along with coliform sample to lift no pressure boil notice. Lifted 09/17/2020: With concerns about structural PVC pipe damage due to burning and loss of pressure, system issued a do not drink notice to all customers initially, Sept 11. DWS to follow up with guidance on potential VOC sampling in distribution. |
