| Details: | 9/17 With concerns about structural PVC pipe damage due to burning and loss of pressure, system issued a do not drink notice to all customers initially, Sept 11. Emailed to all customers. DWS to follow up with guidance on potential VOC sampling in distribution prior to lifting do not drink order. Lifted 09/25/2020: System has re-pressurized distribution, flushed, and collected a coliform bacteria sample that returned coliform absent today, in response to the fire-induced interruption of service. Furthermore, distribution sampling did not show the presence of any VOCs, which was required as part of the PVC pipe system sustained fire burn damage. System will lift do not drink notice today reminding residents to flush interior plumbing. |
