| Details: | Due to a damaged 24-inch watermain which needed repair without the ability to maintain positive pressure, City is notifying approximately 100 customers in an area on Lake Grove Avenue and Reese Avenue in Lake Oswego to boil their water until further notice. There may be one commercial convenient store also notified. Door hangars were placed at each home today. Area is isolated with valves and positive pressure has been maintained outside the area of the localized boil notice. Repairs being made on the line tonight. City will flush and restore pressure and chlorine residuals tomorrow, before taking coliform sample(s). Coliform absent results will be obtained prior to lifting the localized boil notice. Lifted 10/02/2020: The repairs were successful. Service pressure restored with results demonstrating affected area is free of coliform bacteria. Residents have been notified that the boil order has been lifted and to flush their interior plumbing. |
