| Details: | I spoke to Mr. Haight regarding the repeat distribution samples that are total coliform and e-coli positive. Mr. Haight was provided with a boil water notice and boil water notice FAQ. Mr. Haight was instructed to shock chlorinate the system and provide repeat samples once the chlorine residual is at zero. The boil water notice can be lifted once clean distribution samples are documented. I also provided the storage tank shock chlorination calculation tool.
I will schedule a Level 2 investigation with Mr. Haight in the next few weeks.
Lifted 10/19/2020: The system was shock chlorinated. The operator understood to sample once chlorine residuals were zero. I will schedule a level 2 investigation in the next 7-10 days. |
