| Details: | Partial boil of Corbett WD at least until Thursday morning.
The emergency phone tree is actively trying to reach customers, and social media is being used, too.
Reservoir was never drained, but lost 5 ft. down to 8 ft.
The distribution system lost pressure due to an lengthwise split in an 8 in. pipe. (Some pipe-scouring occurred as well.) But the pipe always had some positive pressure. Best Management Plans were sent to the operator. ACTION: Patch leak. Flush area with chlorinated water. Take two sets (of at least two) coliform samples at least 16-hours apart before lifting the Advisory. Lifted 10/15/2020: The main leak was fixed just before midnight Tuesday 10/13. 16 hours later, coliform samples were taken from 3 different locations. All came back negative. |
