| Details: | TVWD issued a partial precautionary boil water advisory for 65 homes near SW 200th Ave and SW Plumeria Way. During work on a water main on 10/21/2020, a small amount of non-potable water entered a portion of the water system. As a precaution, customers in the impacted area received a boil water notice. Before restoring service, water lines were flushed and disinfected. A bacti sample was collected and results are expected on 10/22/2020.
Lifted 10/22/2020: Update 10/22/2020: DWS was notified the sample collected yesterday (10/21/2020) came back negative for TC/EC. The precautionary boil water notice was lifted at 2pm but proactive water quality sampling will continue to track stable water quality trends. |
