| Details: | I was notified today of a waterline break on Monday December 14th under a road resulting in total loss of pressure to about 12 rural residential customers. Other customers in the area experienced low pressure issues. Customers were notified by phone of the issue. The district received assistance on Tuesday from OAWU to identify the break location. ODOT is on site today to assist with road excavation to repair the break. Once repaired and pressure restored, a coliform sample will be collected. Kristy will notify me tomorrow of sample result. Update 12/17/2020: Kristy called to inform me that the leak was found this morning. The leak is near the Rosenbalm Bridge and Harmony Road. The waterline will be repaired this afternoon. She also wanted to clarify only three homes are currently without water. She will send a boil water advisory to affected customers. A sample will be collected tomorrow. Kristy will notify me of sample results and lifting the advisory. - M. Byrd Lifted 12/22/2020: Kristy emailed me this morning a copy of the coliform absent lab report for the sample collected on 12/18/20 after the waterline repair. Affected customers were notified of the sample result and lifted advisory, including instructions to flush their residential plumbing. - M. Byrd |
