| Details: | The system recorded higher turbidity following heavy rains (5-7 NTU), but they were measuring it before the storage tanks. During this interim period before surface water filtration is installed, the compliance location for turbidity monitoring is after the storage tanks. Although the amount is ly to be much lower, absent the post-tank turbidity readings for the same days, we cannot be sure whether they surpassed the maximum. Therefore, we sent Daniel a draft boil advisory explaining the situation. The advisory may be lifted after 3 days of turbidity readings that are in compliance and obtaining another absent coliform result. Lifted 04/02/2018: The water system met the criteria to lift the notice. No high turbidity readings for weeks before this. |
