| Details: | City has issued a localized boil water notice to a few hundred homes due to broken watermain resulting from a failed pressure regulating valve over-pressuring zone, early this morning, June 3. Affected area lost positive pressure. Notice with map posted on City website, radio press release done, and a reverse 911 call system set up. Repairs on 12-inch main line complete, currently re-pressurizing zone, will flush, restore chlorine residuals, and take representative coliform samples, before consulting with DWS to lift local boil water notice. Lifted 06/06/2021: Dave Anderson said all 12 samples taken in the affected area came back negative for total coliform, so the advisory can be lifted. they contacted the grocery store directly, and ODA was also notified. |
