| Details: | Spoke to Jeff Freund on Friday Aug. 10th about E coli positive routine sample collected Aug. 9th. Lynn was notified to collect repeat and triggered source samples. On Saturday Aug. 11th, Jeff notified me that a repeat sample was total coliform positive. Water system was placed on a boil water advisory. Triggered source samples would be collected on Monday Aug. 13th. The water system is taking steps to correct the contaminant issue. Lifted 08/17/2018: After chlorinating and flushing reservoir and distribution, system took 2 follow up samples from distribution and a source sample from the north well. All results absent for bacteria as of approximately noon 8/17. Spoke with operator Lynn and he will lift boil water advisory and notify users via signs in the neighborhood. A level 2 investigation will be conducted next week. Continue normal routine sampling in September. |
