| Details: | On 7/21/23, Lindsey Ecowater (treatment contractor for the WS) collected a routine nitrate sample. It had a result of 11.1 mg/l. A follow up sample was collected on 7/26/21 that tested at 21.6 mg/l. A draft public notice in both English and Spanish were emailed to Joe and Jeff with Lindsey Ecowater. Joe stated there were no infants at the mobile home park. Preliminary treatment evaluation is looking the resin probably needs to be rebedded. The public notice will stay in place until the treatment has been serviced and a passing sample is received. Lifted 09/10/2021: The water system had the treatment tanks re-bedded and a follow up nitrate sample collected on 9/1/21 tested at 0.93ppm for nitrate. As this is well below the MCL of 10ppm, the do not drink advisory has been lifted. |
