| Details: | The water system collected a nitrate sample on 8/24/21 and it tested at 15.5ppm. As this is over the MCL of 10ppm and the treatment system has been showing recent signs of not effectively treating the water, the public notice is going up without the confirmation sample. The water system is contacting the vendor/contractor and have them come back and relook at the treatment system. More information to follow. Lifted 09/10/2021: The water system had their treatment system evaluated by their treatment vendor (Pure n Soft-Hermiston). A follow up nitrate sample collected on 9/7/21 tested at 7.39ppm. |
