| Details: | A routine sample collected 8/22/18 came back positive for both total coliform and E. coli. Combined with the fact that a routine sample collected earlier in the month on 8/7/18 was positive for total coliform, and a recent history of unresolved total coliform detections in July, the system is required to issue a boil water notice at this time. A level 2 investigation has also been triggered which requires a site visit prior to 9/21/18. I asked Katie to verify that a chlorine residual is being detected out in the distribution system, and to collect 3 repeat samples as soon as possible and report the results by 9/2/18. I sent her the public notice template and asked her to edit it, post it, and send me a copy. |
