| Details: | Glenna notified residents to use bottled or boiled water for drinking out of an abundance of precaution for the time being. At present, they cannot get access to their non-working intake pump (water is too high over the riverbank vault). She issued the notice because she has less control over the addition of chemicals before the floc tanks using the temporary "trash" pump they set up in the river. However, the turbidity and chlorine data reported to the state have not met the triggers for a public notice as of 5/9/17. Glenna expects the river will subside enough in June to fix the regular pump and will notify us when shes told people they may start using the water normally. Lifted 06/21/2017: Water finally low enough in stream bed/bank to repair pump back to regular water system operations and treatment controls. Residents were notified on 6-21-17. |
