| Details: | On 1/12/22, I called and left a message for McMullen Water (who covers operations for City of Prescott's water system) regarding the Water Quality Alert notice of a water sample result which exceeded the chronic MCL exceedance level for Arsenic. I mentioned that Public Notification to all users of the system's water is required within 24 hours of being notified. I forwarded the Public Notification template as well as the Arsenic FAQs form to Scott McMullen via email, and requested a callback to discuss possible alternative options for water operations, either temporary and/or long term (bottled water, possible blending with another source to bring arsenic levels down, etc.) I also mentioned that a Confirmation sample for Arsenic is required to be collected at the same sample tap that showed the MCL exceedance results within 2 weeks, and that the average of the initial and confirmation sample results will determine compliance. |
