Details:	Background/Problem Identification: A meeting occurred on site with the water systems operator to discuss funding options to allow the water system to help a RV park owner with their aging system. The RV park is already serviced by the water district. The district was interested in replacing the private internal distribution network and taking over maintenance of the system rather than the districts ownership ending at the existing water meter. Assistance Provided: A site visit to the water district occurred to discuss and look and look at the private RV park. We collected information and then investigated grant funding options that the water district might be able to use to help the water district pull in this private system. It was determined through funding agency feedback that the beneficiary for this effort is the private property owner. The private system needs repair, but the water district is not gaining any value by taking on the private system. It would increase maintenance costs for the district and utilizing grant funds to benefit private property owners was not recommended. We notified the WD of the feedback provided. If the district is adamant about taking over the private system, they would need to fund the upgrades and acquisition in other ways. Follow-Up Actions Needed: The circuit rider is available to assist further as needed.
