| Details: | 06.30.2021 - Contacted Cathy to talk about the assessment of the source conditions. The aquifer characteristics for the well at KOA have been considered by DWS hydrogeologist as highly sensitive. With the addition of residual maintenance chlorination viral sources of contamination may be masked and potentially not being properly inactivated. Due to the aquifer well sensitivity to virial sources of contamination, the KOA water system must collect monthly assessment samples (AS sample). One AS per month should be collected and reported beginning on July 1, 2021 and ending June 30, 2022 for a total of 12 months. The AS sample is a raw water sample collected at the well head prior to treatment. |
