| Details: | Background/Problem Identification: In September 2021 the Circuit Rider was notified that the City of Coquille and a small purchasing system of Coquille, Dean Minard, recently exceeded the disinfection by products (DBP) MCL for TTHM’s. Support was provided two the two water systems, but the solution recommended was focused on the City of Coquille which provides water to the Dean Minard Water District. Upon completion of the support, we were notified of comments regarding lack of a recommendation for the Dean Minard water system and OHA representatives requested we complete a follow up support effort to discuss the potential implementation of a flushing plan for the water system. Assistance Provided: Dean Minard representatives were contact to discuss the development of a flushing plan. The water system representatives indicated they do not need to develop a plan at this point in time and they indicated the recommended solutions to their water supplier the City of Coquille should be adequate. The indicated no additional support was needed at this time. Follow-Up Actions Needed: The circuit rider is available to assist further as needed. |
