Details: | Background/Problem Identification: Bay Aire Mobile Home Park water system was tested for lead content and exceeded the lead action level (AL) of 0.015 mg/L. The results were first received by the state on July 16th, 2021. Jaime Craig of Tillamook County notified Ricky McPherson via telephone on July 27th, 2021, to expect an official notice from the State Drinking Water Program in relation to the AL exceedance. Part of the requirements of this notice was that the water system needed to receive a recommendation from a water system engineer for an optimal corrosion control treatment. Assistance Provided: In order to use the EPA OCCT, two rounds of water quality parameters (WQP) must be taken from all entry points and in distribution. The last round from the prior support effort was somehow lost, justifying the need to retake another round of WQPs. The results of the WQP sampling are pending, and the recommendation for corrosion control will be made shortly after the results are available as part of a subsequent circuit rider support effort. Follow-Up Actions Needed: The circuit rider is available as needed for follow-up assistance. Technical Reports to be Prepared and Expected Timeframe: N/A |
