| Details: | Background/Problem Identification: Richard DeChaine, from Skylands Water Company requested circuit rider assistance for troubleshooting air in their intertie with the City of Lake Oswego. Assistance Provided: Civil West paid a site visit to Richard DeChaine of Skylands Water to help troubleshoot an air entrainment issue the water system has been having. There is a distinct possibility that the air may be coming out of solution due to cavitation in a booster pump, or possibly in a localized high velocity area of the pipeline or valving. Without extensive troubleshooting and/or access to the Lake Oswego system, tracking down the source of the air is beyond the scope of this support effort.
