| Details: | Ochoco West had a drilled well with heavy Arsenic from years past. They treated the water, yet it go too expensive, so they inactivated that well (their only one). They survived on their four (4) springs. When they started going dry, they activated the well and used treatment. The recent tests revealed very low Arsenic output, so decided to stop using the well being their springs have since re-produced better flow. I scheduled their Arsenic back to yearly (from quarterly) until they purchase a brand new system for Arsenic removal. I also inactivated Well CROO482. They still continue to use disinfection. They are currently in the process of purchasing a new system, and will contact the state for proper plan review paperwork. |
