| Details: | Called Jana and reached voicemail after recieving an alert for nitrate levels over 1/2 the MCL. The auction yard well has a nitrate treatment unit already onsite, and I requested that we communicate on if its being serviced or if something has gone wrong with it. Once we determine what's going on with the treatment unit, I will request that we take another nitrate sample in the next quarter to evaluate. Update: Spoke with Jana She will follow up with the woman who runs the kitchen at the Auction Yard, because she oversees the nitrate treatment there. Nitrates are taken by a water sampling company out of Prineville every quarter for the Auction yard, more than the yearly requirement, so we are set up to see a sample come in the next few months already. |
