| Details: | System informed DWS Staff on 2/23/22 their turbidity meter stopped working around 2/3/22 and consequently the system had been unable to measure and monitor turbidity. The operator stated Baker Reservoir had been drained below the intake since late September except for 2 weeks in January. The operator stated he believes turbidity was less than 0.2 NTU based on previous turbidity measurements trends. The needed part to repair the turbidity meter is expected on 2/28/22. DWS staff informed system to indicate turbidity monitoring issue on their SWTR as “unknown—turbidity meter not working”, there would likely be a violation issued for failure to measure turbidity, consider obtaining redundant equipment/parts, and to report back to DWS staff turbidity monitoring resumed once the meter is repaired/replaced. | ||
