| Details: | Jeff Birdsall (ODA) and I had a phone conference with Mr. Kammerer of Kammerer Industrial Park 4105792 this morning. Here are items that we confirmed during the call. 1. The system appears to have a population of 32. The system should be reclassified from OVSS to NTNC. 2. There are at least five businesses on the property making marijuana edibles, alcohol and chocolate confections. They are all licensed by ODA. Regulatory oversight should be transferred from Benton County to ODA. 3. We discussed the NTNC sampling schedule. He has not met the requirement for submitting four quarterly samples for nitrate above 50% of the MCL from December 2019. The system should remain on quarterly sampling until that requirement is met. 4. There are two wells that were tagged by Robert Turkisher with Benton County in 2016. This was done under a well tagging program with OWRD. However, no well logs appear to exist there are only the assigned L tags from 2016. Both wells will require plan review. 5. Mr. Kammerer stated there was an iron filter, brine tank for softening and UV connected to the system. Jeff will likely need to include these treatments with the plan review request. 6. He has requested all correspondence be through regular mail. |
