| Details: | I contact Come N Go Market PWS in response to an MCL exceedance for arsenic. This result is just over the limit and is the third quarter of exceedance at this system. I discussed the difference between the MCL for chronic versus acute and notified the system of the two threshold values (0.010 and 0.050 mg/L). I provided the system with an arsenic FAQ and a template for tier 2 public notice, which I recommended be posted to customers who may see frequent enough usage to see chronic exposure. The system should continue to sample quarterly for at least 4 quarters and it is recommended that the quarterly testing continue until arsenic levels fall below the MCL. |
