| Details: | PFAS sampling conducted as part of the OHA-DWS PFAS Sampling Project showed PFOS at 16.9 ppt and PFHxS at 12.7 ppt at entry point A (EP-A) for a sample collected 3/16/22. With rounding, these results are equal to but do not exceed Oregon's 30 ppt drinking water health advisory level (HALs) for PFOS, PFOA, PFNA, and PFHxS (individually or combined). Although the sum of the concentrations of PFOS and PFHxS does not exceed the 30 ppt HAL, it’s so close to the HAL that OHA-DWS requested the DEQ lab staff to collect a confirmation sample as soon as possible and have it tested for PFAS. If the confirmation sample results exceed the HAL, OHA-DWS will provide additional recommendations at that time. A letter and the sample results were mailed and emailed to the water system on 3/31/22. | ||
