|Details:||I contacted the operator of the water system, Balmeet Singh, to discuss the many issues regarding the operations of the public water system. The deficiencies for the Emergency Operations Plan, Coliform Sampling Plan, and Operations and Maintenance Manual are corrected after copies of the documents were sent to me. The deficiencies for the crack in the concrete slab, extension of well casing to at least 12 inches, and installation of a raw water sample tap were agreed to be corrected by Mr. Singh by June 30th, 2022.
Additionally, I discussed the water sampling for the water system. After my last contact on March 31st, the water system collected a coliform water sample on 04/07/2022 that is reflected on SDWIS. The water system failed to collect a Nitrate sample at this time and Mr. Singh assured me he would collect a Nitrate sample on 04/27/2022 and contact me via cell phone once the sample has been dropped off. Mr. Singh is aware of the monthly coliform monitoring and quarterly Nitrate monitoring for this public water system.
