| Details: | OHA-DWS has issued an administrative order regarding disinfection byproducts exceeding the MCL in the city of Monroe's water system distribution and due to the current corrective actions not being successful in correcting the continued MCL violations. The bilateral compliance agreement has been canceled and the administrative order continues to require correction of the exceedances. Both the water system operator and city administrator were provided digital copies of the administrative order and a hard copy was sent to the city's mailing address. Continued steps include: concluding the SIPP grant process, completing the associated study with the documented determination of treatment technology, and the pending addition to the water system infrastructure. Public notice will continue to be required to be issued as needed. | ||
