Survey: 03/10/2022
Reasons: Operations

Details: 05-26-2022-Sam informed me that all survey deficiencies and rule violations have been corrected.

The filter turbidity profiles for filter 2 was done on April 28, 2022. Turbidity profile for filter 3 was completed April 29, 2022. Turbidity profiles are kept on records. They currently have a burnt out light bulb on the turbidity meter for filter 1. This item has been ordered, including a spare. Once the blub is replaced, the operator will conduct a filter profile on filter 1. Filter profiles will be conducted on each filter at least quarterly as per requirements.

Turbidity Meter Calibration: The City has purchased 2 calibration kits. The first kit is a low range kit containing 0.02, 1.0 and 10.0 NTU. This kit will be used to calibrate filter turbidity meters. The second kit is a high range kit containing 0.02, 10.0 and 1000 NTU. This kit will allow the operator to calibrate the raw water turbidity meter. All the meters have been calibrated except the meter for filter #1 due to the light bulb issue. A record has been created to document when the calibration's have been completed. The City will continue to calibrate the meters quarterly as per the requirements.

Management and Operations: The water plant SOP's have been located and all placed in a new binder. We are currently going through them and creating new ones as well as updating the existing ones.

Monitoring: Currently the system is still on Rink Creek. They are changing to the Coquille River within the next week or two. The operator already secured the sample bottles for the tests that they missed. A week after the change over to the river, the operator will turn in the VOC, nitrate, and IOC samples. All samples that were due for Rink Creek have been completed.

No further actions needed.
