| Details: | Beth Radich called me to report that the seven repeat distribution samples taken on 5/26/22 (Thurs) were reported by the lab as being absent of coliform bacteria. I called Alexin Analytical lab, who had already reported the results to our office, to e-mail me a copy of the results. I followed up with a request from the lab for any source samples that may have been marked special samples as special samples are not typically required to be reported. The lab e-mailed me a set of 5 special distribution system samples taken on 5/22/22 (Sun). The sampling had been done at various locations at the northern end of Ray Brown Road. Since the boil notice advisory was distributed on 5/24/22 (Tues), it was deemed appropriate to enter these as routine samples into our database. One sample at the very northern end of Ray Brown Rd showed a detection of E. coli and another location showed the presence of total coliform bacteria, but no E. coli. These results were deemed to be part of the investigation into the cause of the E. coli positive distribution sample on 5/18/22 (Wed), are covered under the boil water advisory issued on 5/24 (Tues) and addressed by the subsequent corrective actions taken resulting in the coliform absent sampling completed 5/26/22 (Thurs) for which results were received 5/27/22 (Fri). | ||
