| Details: | Doug notified me that the association board decided to abolish bringing the spring and cartridge filter online as a source of water due to design issues and challenges to remove turbidity below 1 NTU. The association will rely on existing groundwater sources and continue to purchase water from the City of Salem during periods of high demand. The association will redirect resources to evaluate alternate groundwater options. Regulatory oversight will change to Polk County Health Department. No further action needed. - M. Byrd |
