| Details: | I visited Vernonia Golf Club in the field on June 3rd. There were golfers outside on the golf course, but the door to the restaurant/building was locked, and I did not see any workers or customers inside. This visit was for a couple purposes: Vernonia Golf Club is due for a water system survey this year, but Oregon DWS also has not received a water sample for total coliform from this system since 2019; I visited in person to see if the restaurant was even open to the public. Last time I spoke with Nick Zavales, he told me that the restaurant was closed due to COVID. I called Nick and Janeen while at Vernonia Golf Club regarding Vernonia Golf Club's status as a water system with their restaurant and left a message. The people I spoke with outside and arriving to/leaving the golf course told me they didn't believe the restaurant is currently still open for business. |
