| Details: | David Gray called as a concerned water customer served by the City of Boardman water department. He expressed concern over some nitrate test results he had taken and analyzed in his home. He used a Marine nitrate test kit as he has aquariums. The test result he collected came in at 55ppm. We did discuss that there are certain testing procedures for analyzing potable water and that a sample analyzed by a certified lab would be needed to verify his claim. That day, a nitrate sample was collected by the City of Boardman and analyzed at the lab. The result came in at 7.46ppm. I explained that the result is under the MCL of 10 therefore no further action was required by the system. It is noted that the sample was collected in the distribution system and the last entry point sample result was 4.83 and was collected on 4/27/22. The system is currently on quarterly monitoring. | ||
