| Details: | The system had collected a coliform bacteria sample on 6/22 (however not received from the lab till 6/27). I spoke with Bernando Garcia, Jimmy Wilcox, and Kuo Lab (Claire). The system declared itself on a do not drink order. The system has now subcontracted sample collection to Nalco Water in tri-cities. I was not able to talk with Hannah (Nalco Water) regarding the sample collection follow up requirements, but Jimmy confirmed she had been out there and collected 3 repeat samples and a triggered source sample on 6/29. A follow up email was sent to Bernando and Jimmy reviewing the phone conversations had that day. Further action may be needed depending on the sample results. The water system had collected three routine coliform samples on 7/13/22 and one was positive for total coliform. Three repeat samples and a triggered source sample were collected on 7/18. The source sample was positive for total coliform but the repeat samples were absent. The system was performing some maintenance (flushing/disinfection) to hopefully clear out the bacteria. No further action is needed at this time. |
