| Details: | Received alert for detections of dichloromethane and carbon tetrachloride from a sample collected on 5/24/22 from well #2. Spoke with Jim. This well is not currently providing water into the distribution system. Work on the pump and other construction was done recently that likely introduced the contaminants. Water from well #2 must travel through about 5000 feet of 8-inch pipe before entering the well building where the sample tap is located. The well and transmission line will be run to waste, another set of VOCs will be collected, and the results reviewed before returning the well to service. | ||
