| Details: | I emailed the representatives of this water system about the recent exceedence of the MCL for arsenic. This final exceedance creates a Running Annual Average just above the MCL. This MCL is for chronic exposure, while the acute MCL is five times higher. The firm has been notified that a Transient Non-Community water system is not required to continue testing for arsenic, nor or they required to install treatment for arsenic. It is recommended that, at a minimum, the system post public notice and information about arsenic in water for the employees of the store, the chronic users of the water. |
