Details: | White Branch doesn't know why the 3 July samples are TC+. Notably the chlorine concentration seemed to drop starting in May and into June. The concentration has been stabilized by the July sampling. It is possible the chlorine concentration was insufficient in some way. Also, the pool was filled from a raw water tank on the hill shortly before the June sampling. If there is a pipe connection between the pool and distribution, that may have introduced untreated water. One method to test for such cross-connection is to put a pressure gauge on a distribution faucet close to the pool, assure all other taps/toilets/etc are not used, and reopen the line from the raw water tank on the hill to see if a pressure jump occurs at the gauge. | ||
