| Details: | On 7/8/22, I called and spoke with Kathy McMullen about the water sample result that exceeded the MCL for arsenic. I mentioned that an arsenic confirmation water sample is required within 2 weeks but also that the running annual average of arsenic results for City of Prescott's water system is right on the borderline of exceeding the MCL. I calculated 0.0104, also factoring in this most recent result. Kathy mentioned that City of Prescott's system already has arsenic treatment on it, and that she will contact Scott or Justin to collect the confirmation sample, and work on re-bedding the filter and doing any other necessary maintenance on the system's treatment components to bring the arsenic levels below the MCL. |
