Details: I spoke with Thang Lam; he says that there was a contracting group that was digging and broke the water line for this water system. He claims the water line was repaired, and that originally the water system was going to shock the line or section of the system that had the line break. Thang was told that the entire system was recommended to be shocked and flushed, which would result in 16,000 to 40,000 gallons being flushed, he says.
Thang says that, since PGE Trojan Nuclear Plant is on its own septic system, that flushing process will likely flood their onsite septic system and drain lines.
Thang also says that there were no follow up water samples collected yet.
