| Details: | On 5/23/22 I received an alert for a single TTHM result of 0.0971 mg/l for sampling completed 5/19/22. I e-mailed David Nordman and Christian Anderson with the Oceanside Water District - Cape Mears system on 5/24/22 regarding the alert and let them know that although the individual result exceeded 0.080 mg/l, this did not result in an Operational Evaluation Level (OEL) or location running annual average (LRAA) maximum contaminant level (MCL) exceedance as these are based on calculations using multiple individual quarterly results for each sampling location. I calculated the TTHM OEL due to the 5/19/22 result to be 0.07885 mg/l and the TTHM LRAA to be 0.072875 mg/l, therefore no further action was needed at this time other than to monitor TOC/disinfectant levels and look for ways to optimize treatment to minimize disinfection byproduct levels, which they had already been working on. | ||
