| Details: | Asked Chris about his September CT/turbidity report regarding no CT calculated on 9/18 due to no reading. Chris said the tube on the chlorine pump failed and unchlorinated water went out to the system sometime between the last reading on 9/17 and when the problem was discovered on 9/18. On the 18th the chorine residual at the first user was 0.01 ppm. The tubing was fixed within 15 minutes of being discovered on the 18th and chlorination restored. Normally a interruption in chlorination would require a public notice, however the system just happened to already be on a system-wide boil water notice due to a water line leak (loss of pressure) that started 9/16/18 and ended 9/25/18 so no public notice was necessary. The violation will return to compliance when the October monthly report is turned in on-time with no issues. | ||
