| Details: | The operator contacted me to inform me that the routine coliform sample from 10/29 was positive for e. coli. He felt that is was a lab error due to the system having 4-log UV treatment and chlorinates. I let him know to do three follow up repeat samples as per a usual a coliform detect. There is no source sample needed due to it being a surface water system. I also let him know that a boil water will need to be issued if any of the follow up samples are total or e. coli positive. I let him know that I'll check in with Pete Farrelly @ DWS as this is a DWS system. | ||
