| Details: | I spoke with Katherine and Dallas Weaver regarding the most recent Repeat sample results for this system, which previously had a positive e. coli Routine water sample. These recent Repeat and Source samples (one of each) tested negative for e. coli but positive for total coliform, which counts as a confirmation for e. coli, which requires a Boil Water Advisory and public notification distributed to all users of the system's water, which Dallas said was already instated with the public notice distributed to all the system's users in the form of a letter, and that the Boil Notice was still in effect even before the Repeat/Triggered sample results confirmed its status. I followed up and mentioned that only the 4th quarter sample is required (October 1 - December 31), however, the boil notice will still remain in place until the next coliform water sample result(s) show to be negative for total coliform. |
